Kids Art & Story *6 - 8 years old*

Join us at Pearl Art Studio for our brand-new Kids Art & Story Class - where imagination leaps from the pages of a book onto the canvas! Designed for children ages 6–8, this class blends literacy and creativity in an engaging, hands-on way.

What to expect: Each session begins with a cozy storytime led by our instructor, who will read aloud from a beautifully illustrated children’s book. Inspired by the story’s characters, colors, and themes, kids will then dive into a guided painting project that brings the tale to life. They’ll explore colour mixing, brush techniques, composition and creative expression while building confidence in both reading and art.

All art materials are provided, and each child will leave with their own finished artwork inspired by the day’s story and author - a keepsake that celebrates both storytelling and your child's creativity. 

What to bring: We provide all art supplies and inspiration! Have your children bring their curiosity and clothes that can handle a little paint.  Please feel free to supply your child with a water bottle.

The class requires a minimum of four participants to proceed.

PLEASE NOTE Pearl does not have access to internet service – we think it makes for a more creative atmosphere – you can step out of the studio if you'd like to access service to look something up!
